Wachusett Meadows

Wachusett Meadows Wildlife Sanctuary, Princeton
Leader:  Joan Gallagher.  Observers:  14.  Weather:  Sunny, 46 degrees to start ending with a sunny high of 67 degrees.   Highlights:  A Black-billed Cuckoo and a fall migrating Magnolia Warbler in the trees near the parking lot, while a short-tailed weasel crossed nearby.  Two Common Loons called and flew over.  A Monarch caterpillar was found eating on a milkweed plant.
