NEW ONLINE PRESENTATIONS AND NEW FALL/WINTER FIELD TRIPS
Forbush Bird Club and Central Mass Wildlife Tracking Club are offering a series of new programs to expand your bird identification skills through virtual training sessions.
Bryan DiFabio, a Certified Wildlife Tracker and the founder of the Central Mass Wildlife Tracking Club, will be our guide. He will reveal techniques to find and identify birds through the signs they leave, the habitats they prefer, their observable behaviors, and distinctive sounds.
The virtual programs will be on Forbush Bird Club’s official ZOOM platform. Interested participants will be asked to register before receiving a link to the Zoom session.
To complement our first presentation on Thursday, November 12, Bryan will lead a field trip on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at the Quabbin Reservoir. Please save the date, and watch for a Forbush email with location details, time, and directions.
During the November 15 field trip, Bryan will focus on the avian attributes described in the presentation. The trip is open to everyone, even if you missed the virtual program.
