Delaney Wildlife Management Area

Delaney WMA in Bolton/Stow is an Important Bird Area with a variety of habitats. There’s a shallow lake, a slow-running stream and a marsh, all bordered by mixed conifer/deciduous forest. The grassland area boasts a Bluebird Trail.
Note: There are a couple of areas that require walking up and down slightly steep terrain, for which some will want to bring a walking stick. We will walk 2.5 to 3 miles. There are no restrooms on-site.

Meet at the Delaney Project Boat Launch, off Harvard Road in Stow at 7:00 a.m.
Directions: From I-495 North, take Exit 70 to Rt. 117 East. Follow Rt. 117 for 2.2 miles and turn left onto Delaney St. In 0.6 miles, turn left onto Harvard Rd. and proceed 0.4 miles to the parking area on the left.
