Delaney Wildlife Management Area

Delaney WMA in Bolton/Stow boasts a variety of habitats. There’s a shallow lake, a slow-running stream and a marsh, all bordered by mixed conifer/deciduous forest. The grassland area boasts a Bluebird Trail. Overall, 193 species have been identified at Delaney.
Note: There are a couple of areas that require walking up and down slightly steep terrain, for which some will want to bring a walking stick. We will walk 2.5 to 3 miles. There are no restrooms on-site.

Meet at the Delaney Project Boat Launch, off Harvard Road in Stow at 7:00 a.m.
Directions: From I-495 North, take Exit 27 to Rt. 117 East. Follow Rt. 117 for 2.2 miles, and turn left onto Delaney St. In 0.6 miles, turn left onto Harvard Rd. and proceed 0.4 miles to the parking area on the left.
