Early December offers the opportunity to find mixed flocks of Snow Buntings, Horned Larks, American Pipits, and even a Lapland Longspur in the large fields between the wooded edge and the waters of the Reservoir.  Red-breasted Nuthatch, Pine Siskin, and common woodland birds may be feeding in the forest  along the trail from the parking area.  Wintering waterfowl of various species and large flocks of Canada Geese are drawn to the open water.

Meet at the dirt parking lot on Route 110/West Boylston St., near the Sterling/Clinton town line.
