Delaney Wildlife Management Area
Five of us met at the parking area between 7:00 and 7:30. There was a large flock of Red-winged Blackbirds, but little else of interest on the water, so we started walking at about 7:30. The sky was initially cloudy, with a light wind. After about an hour the sun came out and we had full sun or partial sun for the rest of the morning. We ended up identifying 44 species, three species by vocalizations only, but at least one person in the group got a clear look at the other 41 species.
